PEEK has good biocompatibility, non-toxicity, low density and excellent mechanical properties. The elastic modulus is very close to human bones, can be circular disinfected by ethyl alcohol, steam thermal, ultraviolet rays, γrays, can be penetrated by X ray. It is the preferred material for artificial bones and medical equipments.
